Rhytec Plasma PSR3: What it is and what
it does
Rhytec Plasma PSR3 is a FDA approved revolutionary
new way to smooth wrinkles and encourage regeneration
of skin tissue to restore a youthful looking appearance
free of visible flaws.
Rhytec Portrait is unique in that treatment causes
regeneration to occur beneath the skin surface
and the outer layer protects the skin beneath
while the regeneration occurs. Portrait provides
the necessary growth factors to allow new tissue
to generate while reducing current wrinkles and
surface problems. Although other procedures claim
to alter skin’s characteristics, Portrait
is the only one that has been clinically proven
to regenerate skin.
Portrait works by sending energy transfers deep
into the skin tissue causing a growth in collagen
that in turn improves the contours of the face.
Over time the changes intensify and the appearance
becomes more dramatic and visible. The whole process
(in the doctor’s office) takes 15 minutes
or less for a whole face treatment. This short
visit will treat _expression lines, vertical lip
lines, marionette lines, tone, texture and coloration
and smile lines.
By transferring nitrogen plasma energy into the
collagen layers beneath the skin’s surface,
new collagen growth is triggered and the facial
architecture develops new contours. The end result

What to expect during and after the procedure?
During plasma skin resurfacing you can expect
to feel a warm sensation as the plasma energy
reaches into your skin layers.
Typically a topical anesthetic is applied to
prevent any discomfort but you and your doctor
can decide on the most appropriate method for
your needs. As with most cosmetic procedures,
the number of treatments is varied. Depending
on the amount of skin you want to treat, the condition
of the skin and the degree of results you wish
to see you might have between 1 and 4 separate
treatments.
Keep in mind that the skin can take from 2 days
to over a week to completely heal and be accepting
of makeup applications.
Following treatment, you should be prepared for
various skin changes. With low levels of treatment
mild flaking and redness will usually occur and
last for several days. With more intensive treatment
the outer layer of skin will brow and shed within
3 to 5 days. Additional redness can be expected.
Once the skin heals completely, you will continue
to see changes in the appearance over the course
of a year. Most patients experience very successful
results with treatment changes lasting for a long
time.
